How SN58 pays
Emission and the split
Where SN58's miner emission goes: 30% to Vector's four latest champions, 70% to the Horizon vault, and a share with no one to take it burns.

The miner emission
Every tempo, Bittensor divides the part of SN58's emission that goes to miners by the weights the validators set. Attune's validators all compute those weights from the same rules, in the subnet's own code, so they agree on them without talking to each other. Nothing about the split is decided by hand.
The split
| Share | Goes to | How it is divided |
|---|---|---|
| 30% | Vector | The four most recent champions: 40%, 30%, 20% and 10% of Vector's share, newest first |
| 70% | Horizon | One hotkey, the vault, fixed in the subnet's code for each network |
With fewer than four champions, Vector's 30% is divided over those there are, in the same proportions: a lone king takes all of it. The champions and how they win are on Vector's ladder.
The vault does not keep what it receives. Every week it pays contributors by the points their work earned; The Horizon vault follows that alpha.
What burns
Weight that has no one to go to is given to the subnet owner's hotkey, which burns it. That happens in three cases:
- A champion's hotkey is no longer registered. Its part burns; the others keep theirs.
- Vector has no champion yet. Its whole 30% burns.
- No vault is pinned for the network, or its hotkey is not registered. Horizon's 70% burns.
Nothing burned is handed to the other project.
Where to see it
Every UID's weight and emission, as the chain has them, are on Taostats. Vector's champions are on its leaderboard. Each week's payouts to contributors are on Horizon's rewards page.
